Welcome

My name is Jeff Taylor. I am from Louisville and currently a Senior Communication major at U of L. I was in the Air Force from 2001-2007 and have been to many places in the U.S. as well as Italy, Ireland, and Qatar. I am also working in video production with a small business with offices in New York and Indiana. We provide video production for numerous clients, some of who have included Fuzzy Zoeller for the Wolf Challenge and Patricia Barnstable-Brown for the Barnstable-Brown Gala that is held every Derby Eve. My writing background has included writing academic papers, financial reports, and performance reports. How I would define the term "place" is somewhere that it doesn't necessarily have to be an area physically accessible to people. The sun is a place but I don't think anyone is going to be going there anytime soon. I also think that a place can be psychological, as in being able to create places in our minds. Writers do this when they describe fictional places such as South Park, the Land of Oz, and New Jersey. Well, maybe not the last one but you get the idea.
