What is the Matrix?

It was not to long ago when I felt like I was living in a cave-like situation, or I identify as the "Matrix". Now I am not saying that I think that we are all living in a computer program. I am just talking about the symbolism a false reality that can relate to the cave-like situation discussed in the Allegory in the Cave. For me, it was about 2 years ago when I feel that I "came-to" and realized what an illusion this world can be. Up until that time, I did feel that something was strange and everything wasn't what it seemed but I could never put a name or a reasonable explanation to it. It was the "splinter in my brain", as Morpheus would say. Then, at the end of 2009, I was introduced to something that I thought was just too unimaginable. Something that has since grasped my interest to this day. Something described to me as, the "Illuminati". Now I have never heard of Illuminati before so I started doing research, research that is still going till this day. It was like I took the "red pill". Everything started to make sense. I wasn't believing everything out there, but it was like it was providing me with the paint to paint my picture. It is a difficult topic to discuss with other "prisoners" because media has corrupted much of society into thinking that conspiracies like the Illuminati are just crazy and unfathomable. They want society to trust in want they say, to do what they say, and to look how they say. Now the fact that I say the Illuminati are the controllers of all things and happenings in this world would be "media-esqe". I don't believe that. But I do still hold my strong beliefs that this country is being ran by "the man behind the curtain", and since I have ascended, I am still trying to get others to ascend too.
